1999: A Closer Look

Dr. Patrick M. Byrne acquired the company Discounts Direct and rebranded it as Overstock.com.
The New York Times featured Overstock.com as the website with “highest gain in average daily visitors.”
Ended the year with $1.8M in revenue.
